On May 1, 2019, the Los Angeles Education Center opened as an off-campus instructional site of Campbellsville University offering the Phillips Graduate Institute’s Master of Marriage and Family Therapy program. This continues the 50 year Phillips legacy dedicated to the training and preparation of students as marriage and family therapists as part of a visionary, expanding, and innovative university.

Campbellsville University is seeking initial institutional approval by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. This approval would allow Campbellsville University to sponsor educator preparation programs in California. Interested parties are invited to submit comments that may help to inform the Commission of substantive issues regarding this institution. Comments should be submitted to the Commission at input@ctc.ca.gov. Please note that comments should specify the party's relationship to the institution (e.g., graduate, present or former faculty member, employer of graduates, other – please specify). All identifying information will remain confidential.

The Master of Marriage and Family Therapy degree is designed to meet the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) requirements for licensure as a marriage and family therapist (LMFT).
