Practice/Areas of Focus

Pam is a bilingual therapist with an extensive background in Los Angeles County public mental health. Pam has worked primarily with underserved populations at both the Los Angeles County Dept. of Mental Health (DMH), and at a DMH-contracted mental health agency in the San Fernando Valley. Through her clinical work, Pam has collaborated with the Los Angeles County Dept. of Children & Family Services and the Los Angeles County Dept. of Probation. As a certified domestic violence counselor, she has focused on providing support to victims of violence within immigrant communities through individual and group therapy. Pam’s particular areas of interest include social justice, the commercial sexual exploitation of children & youth, domestic violence, incarcerated youth, and trauma-informed care. One of Pam’s greatest passions is teaching and mentoring students.
